Join Fr. Nathaniel Haslam and Monica Trevino, a consecrated woman of Regnum Christi, on a pilgrimage through the Catholic soul of Spain, walking more than 100 kilometers along the Camino de Santiago from Sarria to the tomb of St. James in Santiago de Compostela. Follow in the footsteps of saints, pilgrims, and generations of faithful Christians.
Husbands and wives will step away from the distractions of everyday life and journey together with Christ. Through prayer, meaningful conversation, breathtaking landscapes, and the shared experience of the Camino, couples will have the opportunity to strengthen their marriage, deepen their faith, and reflect upon the unique mission God has entrusted to them. More than a trip to Spain, this pilgrimage is an invitation to rediscover what it means to walk together with Christ - today, tomorrow, and for the rest of your lives.

Friday, September 17
Departure for Spain
Individual flights depart for Spain.
Saturday, September 18
Arrival in Spain | Journey to Sarria
Arrive in Madrid and transfer by coach to Sarria, the traditional starting point for the final Camino route. Explore its ancient churches and narrow stone streets shaped by centuries of pilgrimage.
Sunday, September 19
Sarria to Portomarín | 22.3 km
Begin the Camino through Galicia’s rolling countryside, passing ancient villages, Romanesque churches, and traditional stone granaries. Arrive in Portomarín, where the historic Church of San Nicolás was relocated stone by stone before the original town was flooded.
Monday, September 20
Portomarín to Palas de Rei | 24.8 km
Cross the Miño River and continue through oak forests, farming communities, and historic villages. Pass ancient roadside crosses and sites once connected to medieval pilgrim hospitals.
Tuesday, September 21
Palas de Rei to Melide | 14.9 km
Walk toward Melide, where the French and Primitive Camino routes converge. Pass through historic Leboreiro before enjoying Melide’s celebrated Pulpo a la Gallega, a favorite among generations of pilgrims.
Wednesday, September 22
Melide to Arzúa | 14.2 km
Follow shaded woodland paths through eucalyptus groves, small farms, and quiet chapels. Pass through Ribadiso, a beautifully preserved medieval hamlet known for its stone bridge and riverside setting.
Thursday, September 23
Arzúa to O Pedrouzo | 16.3 km
Continue through peaceful villages, farmland, and forest trails as anticipation builds for Santiago. Roadside shrines and centuries-old churches make this one of the Camino’s most prayerful stages.
Friday, September 24
Arrival in Santiago de Compostela | 22.2 km
Complete the Camino as the Cathedral’s towers emerge on the horizon. Pass through Monte do Gozo before entering Santiago’s ancient streets and arriving at the tomb of St. James. Attend the Pilgrim’s Mass and witness the famous Botafumeiro soar through the Cathedral, subject to availability and approval. Receive your Compostela certificate and celebrate the journey together.
Saturday, September 25
Return to the United States
Individual flights depart for the United States.
