IRELAND PILGRIMAGE
In the Footsteps of St Patrick
June 18-28, 2026
This summer, join Fr Eamonn Shelly and Angie Hilbun, consecrated woman of Regnum Christi, on a pilgrimage through Ireland - a land where the faith of the saints meets the wounds and hopes of the modern world. Open to adults 18 years of age and above, this journey invites you to walk between past and present, prayer and history, encountering the sacred heartbeat of a country shaped by both holiness and healing.
In Downpatrick, we’ll stand at the resting place of St. Patrick, whose mission first brought the light of the Gospel to Ireland. From there, we’ll travel north to Belfast, where walls that once divided communities still bear the marks of conflict, yet now speak a quieter story of forgiveness and peace. The contrast is profound: the steadfast courage of the saints of old alongside a contemporary people striving toward reconciliation and grace.
Our path continues through places of deep spiritual resonance - Lough Derg, Croagh Patrick, and Knock Shrine - each one a living testament to endurance, repentance, and faith. We’ll encounter God not only in Ireland’s sacred sites but also in its breathtaking beauty - from the Giant’s Causeway to the Cliffs of Moher. Along the way, we’ll share in Mass, reflection, and the companionship of fellow pilgrims, discovering how God’s presence still moves through Ireland’s landscape and its people.
This pilgrimage is more than travel - it’s an invitation to witness resurrection in real time: the renewal of faith, the healing of history, and the quiet transformation of hearts.
